August Monthly Update

Update from Sue Otto

Dear Friends and Supporters,

We are so grateful for your continued support and are excited to share updates from the past week!

Food Distribution Success

Our commitment to serving the community remains strong. We continue our four-day-a-week food distributions, and in June, we served over 1,000 individuals, a cumulative total of 2,575 times! Your contributions allow us to reach out to those in need consistently. Thank you for making a difference.

New Collaboration with Hillman Cancer Center

We forged a new collaboration with the wonderful staff from Hillman Cancer Center. They joined us during our fresh produce market, lending invaluable support to our food distributions. This partnership exemplifies the power of community and mutual aid.

Beyond the Daily Routine

At The Center for Hope, we strive to go beyond our daily routines to extend a helping hand wherever it’s needed. Recently, we’ve:
Left notes for the homeless to ensure they know where to find food.

Student Volunteers Making a Difference

We are pleased to welcome students from Sewickley Academy, who have been volunteering their time in our food pantry. Notably, some students are translating for our non-English speaking clients, ensuring everyone receives the support they deserve. Their dedication and enthusiasm are truly inspiring.

Join Us in Our Mission

Your involvement is crucial to our mission. Whether through donations, volunteering, or spreading the word, every bit of support helps us continue to serve and uplift our community.

With gratitude,
Sue Otto
