Community Health Fair: Helping our Clients with Healthcare Needs

We are thrilled to share the success of our recent Community Health Fair, held on July 29th. This event exemplified our commitment to serving our community and ensuring that healthcare is accessible to all.

Key Highlights from the Health Fair

Addressing Critical Needs: Among the people we serve, we estimated that 55 children were unable to start school because they needed a physical exam. Thanks to your support, we were able to bridge this gap by providing exams and the necessary paperwork for kids to start school.

Inclusive Healthcare Access: The health fair provided essential health exams to families who face significant barriers to accessing medical care, such as transportation issues and other obstacles.

Collaborative Effort: The event was a success thanks to the dedication of more than ten doctors and other healthcare organizations who volunteered their time to meet with clients every half hour.

Impact: Approximately 100 clients received much-needed health exams during the fair.

Volunteers & Partners: We were grateful to have healthcare professionals from Catholic Charities, Children’s Hospital Care Van, Hillman Cancer Center, Hillman WIC Program, and Golden Onsite Dental.

A Community United in Service

The Community Health Fair showcased the power of unity and service. It was heartwarming to see our community come together to support one another, demonstrating that when we work together, we can overcome any challenge.
